Thunderbird Falls
Thunderbird Falls, in Chugach State Park, is a birch forest on a steep hillside overhanging Eklutna Canyon. It is about half an hour north of Anchorage off the Old Glenn Highway.
Thunderbird Creek forms a 200' waterfall visible from the viewing deck at the end of the one-mile trail.
A secondary trail leads down to the base of the falls.
